BeiChen Lin is a core member of the Investment Strategy team at Russell Investments. BeiChen analyzes financial market trends, provides market commentary, and develops investment recommendations. BeiChen builds and maintains a wide variety of financial, macroeconomic, and behavioural finance models across numerous asset classes and regions. He advises portfolio managers and clients on key risks, macroeconomic data, and market events.

BeiChen serves as a thought leader for Russell Investments and has authored several articles on behalf of the firm. In addition, BeiChen has been quoted in articles by several major news outlets – including CNBC, Marketwatch, USA Today, and U.S. News & World Report. Moreover, BeiChen is a regular commentator on Russell Investments’ Market Week in Review series, providing insight on topics ranging from revised capital requirements for Canadian financial institutions to interpretation and analysis of key macroeconomic data.

BeiChen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance and Accounting) and a Master’s degree in Accounting, both from New York University Stern School of Business. BeiChen is also a CFA charterholder. Additionally, BeiChen is a CPA licensed in the states of Washington and New York.

BeiChen is a firm believer in giving back to the community. BeiChen has volunteered his time as a judge at a variety of business and finance competitions over the years.
