Dr. Carcano is a full-time lecturer at Beedie, where she is also the academic director of the undergraduate minor. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics, Marketing, and Communications from IULM University in Milan, her BA and MA (with honours) in International Strategy from Bocconi University in Milan, and her specialized Master's in International Business from ESADE in Barcelona, Spain. Her research spans marketing, strategy, entrepreneurship, creativity, innovation, leadership, and the luxury fashion and design sectors. Dr. Carcano has authored acclaimed books and peer-reviewed journal articles and contributed to various edited volumes. She has received awards for her excellence in writing and teaching.
